Dalí
The incredible surrealist artist Salvador Dalí was born in Figueres, Spain which is just 1 hour outside of Barcelona via the high-speed train AVE. Being a huge Dalí fan, I was so excited to visit the Dalí Theatre Museum in his hometown. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that this is not going to be a typical museum experience. The facade of the museum is striking with its giant eggs, glass dome and bright colored walls. The museum holds some of Dalí’s jaw dropping works and a beautiful, unique jewelry collection that he designed. Definitely worth a day trip that can easily be combined with a visit to nearby Girona.
Inspired by the surroundings, I wore this comfortable wrap dress with a vibrant print. It’s another dress that can easily transition from winter to spring- just remove the tights and it’s warm weather ready!
