With its Cinderella’s Castle and impressive Roman aqueduct, Segovia is the perfect charming town to visit to get away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid- only 30 minutes away on the fast train. It is also filled with cute stores like the famous illustrator’s Monica Carretero’s shop and amazing food. Segovia is most famous for its suckling pig, which is a must at José María Restaurant with their delicious house wine. There is more than enough in Segovia to do to spend a full day or even a night. Don’t miss this beautiful historic town next time you are in Madrid!
