Bushwick Walls

Bushwick is not only one of the coolest neighborhoods in Brooklyn right now, but it also has the best street art in all NYC. I love going there to see what’s new on the walls especially now that the heat streak finally broke in New York. This hoodie dress is the ultimate comfy casual look and perfect for cooler summer nights. I also have to say that this crossbody phone case is one of the smartest buys I’ve made in a long time- practical and cute!

NYC Street Art

The best street art in New York is in Bushwick. Around almost every corner, you can see unique, colorful murals created by local artists. There are also great places to grab a drink and a bite to eat in the neighborhood- the Brooklyn Beer Garden and Roberta’s Pizza are some of my favorites.

This romper, which is available in 4 colors, was the perfect choice for checking out the streets of Bushwick. It’s super comfortable, light and can easily be dressed up or down with just a change of shoes and belt. It’s worth grabbing for warm fall days.

Bushwick Rooftops

Bushwick Brooklyn has to be one of the coolest neighborhoods at the moment. With a relaxed vibe and street art everywhere, it has that NYC edge and spirit that so many other neighborhoods are lacking. We hung out at this Bushwick rooftop for the shooting of Bad Buka’s video by Urbano Street. Taking advantage of the urban and gritty backdrop, we took a few shots of this skirt that I picked up at Greenwich Market in London. The pop of red with the embroidered London skyline both in the front and back gives the skirt its unique details.
