For the last long weekend of the summer, I’m celebrating by wearing this bright pineapple print two piece set. The straps on the bustier top are adjustable so you can decide just how much skin you would like to show.

Enjoying the last days of August at the Castle Hotel and Spa in Tarrytown, NY in this vibrant Mara Hoffman maxi dress. I rarely wear maxi dresses, but cannot resist the unique and colorful prints that can be found not only on Mara Hoffman dresses but also swimsuits and activewear. There is a great sale going on her site now through Labor Day- definitely worth checking out!

Finally made it to the Museum of Ice Cream! I absolutely loved it- the best kind of museum is one you can eat your way through and kick off your shoes to dive into sprinkles. To visit this delightful place , I had to wear my Kate Spade cupcake skirt. The skirt was a part of Kate Spade's collaboration with Magnolia Bakery that I wish they could bring back. I was so happy to be able to combine my favorite sweet treats- ice cream and cupcakes.

For a night out in the East Village, I paired this picture perfect dress with the cutest camera crossbody from Kate Spade. Although I do not wear sneakers very often, I do enjoy being able to walk comfortably while checking out new places in the City. These white sneakers allowed me to do just that and are a nice alternative to the Stan Smith sneakers.

A playful lemon print off the shoulder top is the perfect match for these dogs day of summer. The yellow flare skirt adds to the vintage vibe. The dark coral clutch provides a striking contrast, while also serving a good cause. The proceeds from these bags benefit an organization named Fundación Casa en el Árbol, which helps families in the coast of Colombia. It's great being able to shop and help those in need at the same time!

Beating the heat in New York with a crown braid, a lace back crop top and light airy bold floral pants. In the middle of this heat wave, I love wearing my hair up but also like to keep it interesting with different braided styles. The lace back panel on this top keeps me cool, while the floral pattern on these pants put a smile on my face.

This Karen Millen dress transitions easily from day to night. The colorful stripes make the dress fun enough for happy hour, but it's still conservative enough for the workplace. This Tumi Harlow backpack has changed my commute to/from work by allowing me to finally carry only one bag! It's roomy enough to hold all of my necessities and has a quick and easy slot for my laptop. I love it so much I'm thinking about getting another color for the fall.

Visiting the POPaganda Pop-Up in the Meatpacking District, I wore this bright, sunny yellow skirt from Alice and Olivia. Yellow (along with red) is one of my favorite colors and conveys all good things about summer. A simple, off the shoulder top lets the sunshine through the urban jungle.

Life is better with bows and bubbles! I adore this Kate Spade dress. It has a Mad Men feel and is extremely comfortable with pockets. A splash of red with the shoes gives just the right amount of color. Perfect for a day at the museum or brunch with the girls.

A beautiful stroll through Tudor City with one of my absolutely favorite Ted Baker skirts. The mint color is beautiful and the dragon flies on the print add a whimsical touch. This skirt is from last season but Ted Baker usually comes out with a similar style each year. This is a great skirt for twirling through the City!
