Get Happy

The "Happy-Go-Lucky" exhibit in SoHo is designed to make New Yorkers get happy.  In this fast-paced, intense city, sometimes we need to be forced to take a step back and forget about the daily grind.  This exhibit helps just do that.  To enjoy the exhibit, I wore this comfortable knit matching set with these red platform sandals.  This would also make a great outfit for the Fourth of July!

Happy Easter

After leaving a cold New York, spending Easter weekend in Napa Valley has been like a dream.  Blue skies, warm temperatures, beautiful landscapes and amazing wine has me wanting to stay in Napa forever!  The Hall Winery in St.Helena was one of our favorites- the distinct art and good wine make it a stand out in the region.  This cool cotton dress was perfect for the warm sunshine. I am obsessed with print- little bees spread throughout the stripes and ruffles of the dress.

Hello, Kitty!

I am a huge Hello Kitty fan and was so happy when the ASOS x Hello Kitty line became available.  Everything is adorable!!  A lot of the items sold out immediately but you can still get a few items and look for things to be restocked.  This sweater is lightweight but looks good with both skirts and jeans for a more casual look.  I had to pair it with my red velvet shoes and red sunglasses- it is my favorite color after all!

Pink Bloom

Spring has sprung!  I was so excited to finally pull out this dress with pink blooms, lemons and bees.  The perfect combination to celebrate longer warm days that allow more time for exploring. These pictures were taken at a former thread mill in Connecticut dating back to the 1800's.  A beautiful building filled with stories from the thousands of workers it once it contained.

Camera Happy

For a night out in the East Village, I paired this picture perfect dress with the cutest camera crossbody from Kate Spade.  Although I do not wear sneakers very often, I do enjoy being able to walk comfortably while checking out new places in the City.  These white sneakers  allowed me to do just that and are a nice alternative to the Stan Smith sneakers.
