Out of the Blue

Finally felt like spring in NYC. The weather this Saturday was absolutely amazing.  I think every New Yorker came out of their home to enjoy the glorious day- every park, outdoor cafe and sunny side of the street was full.  This maxi dress can be dressed up or down- I kept it low-key with flat sandals.  It's a thin stretchy material that is so soft- feels great against the skin.  Perfect for sunny spring days!

Layer Up

Back to the reality of winter in NYC!  After enjoying the almost spring like temperatures, it's back to windy and cold but bright days.  The key to winter dressing is layering.  It's even better when the work of some of the layering is already done for you- that's one of the reasons I love this dress.  I layered it over a full skirt to give it the bottom half more volume and a thermal shirt and tights for warmth.  This dress will be perfect for spring sans tights and heeled sandals.

Mola Vibes

A casual look for a weekend of camping, hiking and wine tasting in the Finger Lakes.  You may have noticed by now that I am a huge fan of prints.  Mola is a traditional textile that is made by women of the Kuna indigenous communities of Panama and Colombia.  Mola Sasa makes the most amazing hand crafted clutches using Mola sewn by artisan women.  Allowing the clutch to stand out on its own, I paired it with this denim A-line skirt that will transition perfectly into fall. This skirt can easily be dressed up with heels, or worn more casually with flats.
