Summer Nights

The heat finally broke in NYC and we had one of the most beautiful summer nights we have had in a while.  To enjoy the amazing evening, I went out in my favorite color.  I love the fact that this silk midi skirt comes with a red slip underneath- perfect for breezy nights.  This top is so versatile that I bought it in both red and white. Hope the weather stays like this through the weekend!

Pinknic

Summer in the City means picnics in its beautiful parks, outdoor concerts and a lot of rosé! Pinknic manages to turn all these things into one fabulous event on Governor's Island.  In a sea of pink and white, I wore this floral applique dress that I paired with flat sandals to be able to dance comfortably on the green lawn, but I would easily pair with heels for a night out.  Just FYI-  I did remove the white slip and tulle the dress came with for a short pink tutu- a very easy swap for a more fun look.

Out of the Blue

Finally felt like spring in NYC. The weather this Saturday was absolutely amazing.  I think every New Yorker came out of their home to enjoy the glorious day- every park, outdoor cafe and sunny side of the street was full.  This maxi dress can be dressed up or down- I kept it low-key with flat sandals.  It's a thin stretchy material that is so soft- feels great against the skin.  Perfect for sunny spring days!

Show Your Stripes

One of the biggest trends for next season is stripes.  I've always been a huge fan of stripes.  I love the thick material and bright pink stripes of this sweater dress.  Throw this on for work and then head straight to happy hour.  The colors of the dress also make it an easy piece for transitioning into the spring.  I've already started to countdown to the next season!

Party Ready

This year has just flown by!  As New Year's Eve approaches, deciding what to wear to bring in the new year becomes a more difficult decision with so many dresses to choose from.  What I adore about this sparkly sequined dress is that you can change the pattern to fit your mood.  Whether it's overall gold or silver stars or a mix of both, you can have a lot of fun playing with the patterns.

Falling for Fall

I have been doing my best to take advantage of these warm fall days in New York by taking my time meandering through the streets.  There are always things to discover in this ever changing city.  This relaxed dress is one of my favorite purchases of the season- the colorful satin flowers and petals capture the light beautifully.  I could not resist pairing this dress with these blue velvet booties.  They are so comfortable and will match with almost anything.  I plan on getting a lot of use out of them this season and the next.

Pine Away

Seville may be my favorite city in Spain although it's hard to choose just one because the country has so many amazing places.  With temperatures soaring into the nineties, I wore this playful pineapple print skirt for a full day of exploring the magical city of Seville.  These shoes are so comfortable and come in a variety of colors.   I was able to wear them the whole day without hurting my feet- the heel is just the right height to wander for hours.
